Gauri Pradhan Tejwani was born on 16 September 1977 in Kashmir, India. She is an Indian Television Actress.

Early life
Gauri Pradhan's father was a Major in the Indian Army so she lived in a lot of places in India throughout her childhood. After her father's retirement, her family settled down in Pune where she studied Psychology in SP College. In 1998 she came to Mumbai to take part in Miss India and reached among the finalist.

Career
Gauri started off her career doing some modelling and commercials. Her first major appearance was in and as Noorjehan, the Mughal Empress aired on DD and then came 'Kutumb' but she is best known for playing Nandini in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She has also made an episodic appearance in the series 'Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and Rihaee on Sony and played the role of the protagonist in Sony televisions 'Naam Gum Jayega'. In April 2008 she entered the popular show Left Right Left.

She was nominated for the MTV Lycra Style Awards in the category for Most Stylish Person on TV (Female) in 2004. In 2005, Gauri won the Best Evergreen Pair of the decade on Sony television with husband Hiten for Kutumb. In 2005 & 2007 & recently in 2008 she won the star parivar favourite jodi award with husband Hiten (for the characters Karan and Nandini in KSBKBT).They are the only jodi to have won it thrice till date.

In 2006 she was awarded for best supporting actress in the Indian Television Awards for her portrayal of the character Nandini. She has made notable appearances with her hubby Hiten in several films produced in collaboration with "Balaji Telefilms" which is the same company which also runs many well known television serials in which she acts.
